Nick Jacob is a criminal defence lawyer, with significant experience defending nearly all criminal charges, including assault, domestic assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, sexual assault,  uttering threats,  criminal harassment, peace bonds, impaired driving (DUI), refusing to provide a breath sample, break and enter, being unlawfully in a dwelling house, theft, fraud, mischief, drug possession,  drug trafficking, drug production, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a concealed weapon, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and possession of illegal firearms and other weapons.


Nick also has vast experience dealing with traffic and regulatory matters including driving while prohibited, driving while suspended, speeding, excessive speeding, failing to produce a driver's license, driving without insurance, driving without due care and attention, failing to stop, using an electronic device or cell phone while driving, and immediate roadside prohibitions.


Government officials have extraordinary power, and administrative law deals with challenging government decisions. Nick has successfully overturned multiple immediate roadside prohibitions by conducting a judicial review in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Nick has also had success challenging a decision of the National Parole Board, reinstating his client's pardon that was initially revoked by filing a judicial review in the Federal Court. Finally, Nick has experience in court litigation involving denials of Firearms licenses and can provide significant assistance on that front.
